Features
This tap benefits from ceramic disk cartridges, a simple device within the tap that improves its performance and gives it a longer life.
Recommended minimum operating pressure of 0.5 bar. This means if you have a combi boiler, megaflow or other pressurised system then this tap is perfect for you. If you have a low pressure water system such as a tank and cylinder (gravity fed) then this tap is not recommended for you unless you are intending to fit a pump.

This tap is manufactured by Mayfair Brassware
Mayfair Brassware are an industry renowned premier bathroom products company. The design of all of their products is cutting edge and their quality is without compromise.
The brass bodies of Mayfair taps are all 59% or higher copper content and have undergone extensive salt spray and pressure testing during manufacture. Cheaper taps have low copper contents and traditional undergo shorter salt spray tests. This means that those taps look beautiful to begin with but they quickly (1/2 years) corrode and tarnish.
Other reasons why this tap is exceptional quality is the polishing stage prior to the electroplating with nickel is very thorough to ensure a thick but even coverage. If you look at a cheap tap at an angle you can often see "waves" in the plating and this is because the bond (nickel) is not thorough and even - Mayfair Taps are perfectly polished and the nickel is evenly distributed making the chrome finish beautiful and flawless.
Finally the chromium finish that is electroplated onto the tap is evenly distributed and perfectly polished.
